INVEN (nothing), N, N (clearing - see a hut), N (inside hut - note hole in ground for later), SEARCH HUT, TAKE SHOVEL, S, E (west of rickety bridge), JUMP (across to land safely on a small road), E (crossroads), E, E (cemetery), DIG GRAVE (need shovel - find a sealed coffin which you can't open yet), DROP SHOVEL, W, W (crossroads), N, N, N (mountain track), N (shore of lake), READ SIGN (ignore warning, you are safe providing you carry no more than one item at a time), SWIM (to reach the north side of the lake), TAKE HAMMER, SWIM (back across lake), S, S, S, S, E, E (back at open grave), BREAK COFFIN (need hammer - to find a skull), DROP HAMMER, TAKE SKULL.

W, W, N, N, N, N, SWIM (back on north side of lake), E (beside boathouse - fierce native blocks you way), THROW SKULL (to frighten him - note he drops a knife as he runs away), N (inside boathouse - see a dead priest), FRISK PRIEST (find a pocket watch and chain, and a key), TAKE KEY, TAKE WATCH, READ WATCH (it indicates that every move you make takes you one minute closer to sunset), DROP WATCH, EXAMINE PRIEST (a victim of Count Dracula), S, W, SWIM, DROP KEY, SWIM, E, TAKE KNIFE, W, SWIM, TAKE KEY.

S, S, W (gravel drive), W (courtyard of castle), UNLOCK DOOR (need key), DROP KEY, N (entry hall), N, W (kitchen), N (garden), E (beside an oak tree), CLIMB TREE, CUT BRANCH (need knife), D, TAKE WOOD, CUT WOOD, INVEN (now have a stake), E, N (inside stables), SEARCH STRAW, TAKE LANTERN (note it is empty, as usual), S, W, W, S, E, S, W (library), DROP STAKE (for later), SEARCH LIBRARY (see an armchair), SIT (in chair to hear a creaking noise somewhere in the house), TAKE GLOVES, stand UP (to hear the creaking noise again), E, UP (top of staircase), N, E (master bedroom), TAKE MATCHES, W, S, D (back in entry hall).

S, E, E, S, S (crossroads), S (bottom of hill), UP (to top of hill - see a tap dripping oil), FILL LANTERN, D, N, E, E (cemetery), N (porch of church), LIGHT LANTERN, N, W (to altar), TAKE ROPE, SEARCH ALTAR (see a crucifix), TAKE CRUCIFIX, E, S, S, W, W, W (small road), JUMP (to west of bridge), W, N (back inside hut), THROW ROPE (so you can climb down into hole), WEAR GLOVES (to protect your hands), CLIMB ROPE (to a secret cave below hut - see a snake), KILL SNAKE (need knife), DROP GLOVES, DROP KNIFE, E (tiny alcove), TAKE CASKET, OPEN CASKET (find an amulet), TAKE AMULET (do not examine it), DROP CASKET, TAKE BALL, W, U, S, E, JUMP, E, S, UP, FILL LANTERN, D, N, E, E (cemetery), TAKE HAMMER (left here earlier), W, W, N, N, N, N (shore of lake), RUB AMULET, INVENTORY (you learn that the genie has changed the amulet into a chalice), FILL CHALICE (with water from lake), BLESS CHALICE (need crucifix - now have Holy Water in the chalice).

S, S, W, W, N, W (library), SIT (in chair to hear the creaking noise again), DROP BALL, UP (this time no creaking noise due to the weight of the ball in the armchair), TAKE STAKE (left here earlier), E, N, W (kitchen - see a door has now opened), W (top of cellar steps), D (long passage - note the walls glow), DROP LANTERN, S (crypt - see a box resting on a plinth), POUR CHALICE (to pour the Holy Water onto the lid of the coffin, revealing Count Dracula), HIT STAKE (with hammer - to kill him).

DRACULA'S EYES SNAP OPEN AND HE UTTERS A TERRIBLE SCREAM!
